IN THE GAME High School Sports Magazine® was created to recognize high school athletes in the South Georgia area and to provide the community with interesting information about local high school athletic programs. The response to the South Georgia Edition was overwhelmingly positive – schools, coaches, students, parents, and the communities in general all welcomed IN THE GAME.
The Columbus Valley and Middle Georgia Editions were developed in late 2008, the Cobb Edition followed in August 2009, and the Southeast Georgia Edition kicked off in April 2010. In August 2010, the Cobb Edition expanded to become the Cobb-Cherokee Edition.

Each issue of IN THE GAME is filled with page after colorful page of human interest coverage about standout players in addition to information provided by area schools. Many of the featured athletes go on to perform at the next level, and IN THE GAME is a unique way for these athletes to remember their high school sports career.
We find that performance on the field often leads to performance in the classroom, and participation in organized sports helps young men and women acquire the characteristics necessary to be successful in life. While some media outlets are critical of these student-athletes, IN THE GAME continues to focus solely on the positive.
The content on the school pages is often submitted by journalism students. IN THE GAME provides an excellent venue for these aspiring writers and photographers to build a portfolio of published work, as they receive credit for individual articles and photos used in the magazine.
IN THE GAME High School Sports Magazine® is a brand name that represents integrity, honesty and ethical business practice.
